چکیده
Modifying of HY/Zeolite is by loading nickel for applying catalyst in thermal catalytic cracking furfural extract-40 from the lubricating base oil unit. The study involved characterizing HY-zeolite and promoted with X-ray diffraction analysis, Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), BET (Brunauer, Emmett, Teller), infrared ray analyses FTIR. tubular reactor a fixed bed two type catalysts; HY/zeolite Ni HY/zeolite, individually at temperature 580oC LHSV 5h-1 was investigated. results indicated that increase conversion also increases yield useful petroleum products decreases coke depsite on HY-Zeolite catalyst.

Selective formation of propylene by hexane cracking over MCM-68 zeolite catalyst.
Dealumination of MCM-68 zeolite with MSE topology enhanced the selectivity to propylene (45-50%) and durability to coke formation during hexane cracking, regardless of the reaction temperature, which is attributed to the control of the position and density of acid sites originating from the framework Al atoms.

Catalyst S. Al-Khattaf* Chemical Engineering Department, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals Dhahran 31261, Saudi Arabia Abstract Catalytic transformation of toluene has been investigated over Y-zeolite based catalysts in a novel riser simulator at different operating conditions. A number of experiments were carried out in the temperature range of 400-500C to understand the transformat...
متن کاملCatalytic Pyrolysis of Wild Reed over a Zeolite-Based Waste Catalyst
Fast catalytic pyrolysis of wild reed was carried out at 500 ̋C. Waste fluidized catalytic cracking (FCC) catalyst disposed from a petroleum refinery process was activated through acetone-washing and calcination and used as catalyst for pyrolysis. In order to evaluate the catalytic activity of waste FCC catalyst, commercial HY zeolite catalyst with a SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of 5.1 was also used. The b...
متن کاملNOx Selective Catalytic Reduction over Pt Supported Catalyst Promoted by Zeolite and CeO2-ZrO2
The emission control of NOx in exhaust gases is one of the greatest engineering challenges to extend the practical and commercial application of diesel and lean burn engines. One solution is selective NOx reduction using hydrocarbons in an oxidizing atmosphere. We mainly focused on catalytic reactions under temperature excursion because of the resemblance to conditions prevailing in real automo...
متن کاملEffects of Dealumination and Desilication of Beta Zeolite on Catalytic Performance in n-Hexane Cracking
Catalytic cracking of n-hexane to selectively produce propylene on Beta zeolite was carried out. The H-Beta (HB) (Si/Al = 77) zeolite showed higher catalytic stability and propylene selectivity than the Al-rich HB (Si/Al = 12), due to its smaller number of acid sites, especially Lewis acid sites (LAS). However, catalytic stability and propylene selectivity in high n-hexane conversions were stil...
